A convivial group of 26 participants from all over the UK and several European countries registered for the talk about ‘Medieval Southampton’ given by Katie Belo dos Santos via Zoom on 25th February. Katie whisked us away on a tour that went from St Michael’s Church (1070) to the Southampton Plot (1415), encompassing medieval vaults, the wine trade, piracy, the Black Death and the wool trade.
